Hawthorne at Shallotte sells for $47.5 million 🏘️
The 264-unit apartment community at 43 Cabrillo Road SW in Shallotte has sold for $47.5 million. Logan Homes sold the property — formerly known as Monument at Ocean and Main — to Hawthorne Residential Partners of Greensboro.
The community has 11 three-story buildings, completed in 2025. The sale was financed with a $34.1 million Freddie Mac loan through Walker & Dunlop.
It’s the only multifamily property with more than 50 units to sell within five miles in the last five years — a sign of how hot the Shallotte rental market has become.
