    Fishing runs October 2–3, with a $25,000 top prize and more than 400 boats expected β€” one of the largest kingfish tournaments on the East Coast. Good luck, anglers! 🎣

    Decorations are going up all over downtown through Oct. 1, and they’re expecting 40–50 thousand visitors on the October weekends. Big changes this year: a new shuttle running from Hwy 501 up to Marina Drive/Elm Street, designated rideshare drop-offs, and some road closures β€” all to keep traffic moving and pedestrians safe downtown.
