Brunswick County Sets Oct. 19 Public Hearing on 2027 Property Reappraisal

🏠 Brunswick County property owners — the county is resetting what your property is worth, and Monday is your chance to weigh in.

The Board of Commissioners has set a public hearing for Monday, Oct. 19 at 6 PM on the 2027 countywide property reappraisal. This is the new schedule of values — the official rulebook the county will use to set the assessed value of every property here, effective Jan. 1, 2027. That assessed value is the number your tax bill is built on, so if you own a home, land, or a business in the county, this one touches your wallet.

Same night, the board holds a second public hearing on proposed fee changes for the Hydrant Bulk Water Program — that affects contractors and bulk water haulers.

Both hearings are at the Sandifer Administration Building in Bolivia, and public comment is welcome. 📋
