🚨 BREAKING: A former Brunswick County sheriff’s lieutenant has been arrested by the State Bureau of Investigation — accused of misusing the department’s license plate reader cameras.
Daniel Heith Little, 47, was indicted by a grand jury on 18 counts: six counts of accessing government computers, six counts of misusing automated license plate readers (Flock Safety cameras), and six counts of failing to discharge his duties. He’s been released on an unsecured bond.
The sheriff’s office says it will fully cooperate with the SBI and called it “a disappointing situation.”
