It’s tournament time! The U.S. Open King Mackerel Tournament kicks off today in Southport.
Today’s schedule at Dutchman Creek Park: registration and packet pickup from 10am to 9pm, food and live music from 4 to 7pm, and the captains’ meeting at 7pm.
Fishing runs October 2–3, with a $25,000 top prize and more than 400 boats expected — one of the largest kingfish tournaments on the East Coast. Good luck, anglers! 🎣
