✅ UPDATE: LOCATED SAFE — JAMES BARKLEY PIERCE HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE. Good news on the Shallotte missing-person case we shared earlier today: the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office has updated its post to say James Barkley Pierce, 73, has been located and is safe. Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal and kept an eye out. That’s a community doing what it does best. (Source: Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, NC.)
