Good news for beach days! 🏖️ Starting tomorrow, November 1, beach parking is FREE again at Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach.
Paid parking season ends today, October 31. From April 1 through October 31, island parking ran 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at $5 an hour (up to 3 hours) or $20 a day — but from November 1 through March 31, those same spaces are free.
So if you’ve been putting off a quiet off-season beach walk, this is your sign. No meter, no app, just the beach.
Note: Holden Beach’s paid parking runs year-round, so this change applies to Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach only.
