✈️ More nonstop flights to the beach are coming — 11 of them.Breeze Airways announced today at Myrtle Beach International Airport that it’s adding 11 new nonstop routes from MYR, launching through 2027. The move grows Breeze’s capacity at the airport 70% by summer 2027 and makes it the biggest airline at MYR — five months after Spirit ceased operations entirely in May.The new nonstops: Boston (daily, starts May 4), Buffalo (July 1), Burlington VT (May 27), Columbus OH (May 28), Latrobe PA (Feb 9), New Haven CT (May 26), Portland ME (May 27), Portsmouth NH (May 26), Albany NY (May 28), Stewart/Newburgh NY (May 28), and Syracuse NY (May 27). Starting fares run from $49 (Latrobe) to $79 (Boston).Airport director Judi Olmstead called them high-demand markets and some of the most requested cities by MYR travelers. For our side of the state line, MYR is the home airport — more direct flights in means more visitors on the Grand Strand and the Brunswick County beach towns, and more jobs and tourism revenue to go with them. ✈️Photo: MBN.com.Sources: WMBF; Breeze Airways.
